Alvarado Management Consultancy International (AMCI) is a registered management and consulting company specializing in consultation, training, management, marketing of Hotel and Resorts including their F&B operations. Our role as consultant is to provide advice and assistance to management and business operations. Our founding principles are to bring clarity, professionalism, innovation and true cost-effectiveness to a hospitality and food service operation, ensuring quality and value for both client and customer.
With extensive expertise in Management, AMCI has been managing properties with an average occupancy level of not less than 80% at any given time of the year. AMCI Management has garnered the 2005 Global Awards for Marketing Excellence for Most Outstanding 3 Star Hotel ( Metro Manila Awards ) given by the Philippine Marketing Practitioners Association, Agora Institute for Marketing Excellence and the Business Asia Magazine.
Joselito “ Jojo” Alvarado is the Managing Director of Fernandina 88 Suites Hotel. He is the one instrumental in the construction and development Condominiums for their family, namely, Sunrise Condominium along Ortigas Ave. in Greenhills, Pearl Condominium, and the Residencia 8888 Condominium, wherein for sale units were sold out Two weeks after ground breaking due to a aggressive marketing strategy, both located at the Ortigas Commercial Center.
He has also been a part of several family owned projects that include building and selling of private properties in the Greenhills, Valle Verde, Green Meadows, Ayala Heights, and Wack Wack Subdivisions, which are considered Class A residential communities.
After successfully developing these condominium buildings in partnership with the Ortigas and Company, Jojo convinced his family to set up their own. In 1997 when the Asian financial crisis hit, Jojo quickly turned this situation around for their condominium development by starting a Suites Hotel with the remaining unsold units. This proved to be a very smart move as the suites hotel has become even more profitable than their original venture. Fernandina 88 Suites Hotel enjoys an Average 80% occupancy all year round plus has made a name for itself in the community as the preferred meeting and function venue. As a three Star Hotel, Jojo has managed to maintain standards and surpass expectations thereby making Fernandina 88 Suites Hotel the preferred choice of both domestic and international travelers planning their stay at the Araneta Center. Due to its success in gaining a wide market share in the hospitality industry, the present marketing Plan of Fernandina 88 Suites Hotel has been, and is being copied by other hotels.
